The rules around managing hazardous substances In New Zealand will be changeling from December 2017. The regulations will be transferred from the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996  (HSNO) to the Hazardous Substances Regulations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA).

If you are already managing your hazardous substances according to the HSNO legislation, despite the big overhaul, there won’t be much to do to ensure you’re compliant under the new regulations.
